Contracting
Contract Templates
If the contracting agency has preferred boilerplate language, SFCWA legal staff will consider it. Any review of additional language will increase the length of the contracting process.
Overhead Policy
The SFCWA Board Policy 15-1 Payment of Government Contract Overhead states: SFCWA will pay overhead amounts of up to 20% in addition to total direct costs or unburdened hourly rates. Exceptions to the Policy are at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
Request for additional overhead will delay the contracting process, as such request would need to be agendized prior to monthly Board meetings (by the second Thursday of each month).
General Requirements
Standard terms of SFCWA’s contracts require:
- Quarterly Reports
- Invoice Tracking Sheets
- Fact Sheets
- E-Access to data generated by the project
- Final Report (preferably a manuscript or publication)
